The intended rhetorical situation of my essay is Purpose. My purpose of writing this essay is not only for a grade but also a median for people who don’t usually research history to understand how significant the simplest things can seem. for an example my research is about the African burial ground and the historical context of it and at first glance the discovery was shocking and interesting but there is so much more to it than that because of all the events and history linked up to the creation of the burial that not many people know about. So, it is my job to shine light on what might confuse people and things that are not well known. The only thing I need to actual make this situation a reality is to highlight key factors and events in history that I believe that are important for the understanding of what transpired before, during, and after the discovery of the African burial ground.
